Alia El Askalany ( Lulu's Kitchen)

Lulu always had a dormant passion for food &
cuisine, which came out after she took a break from the
corporate world, in 2014. Lulu worked on her cuisine skills
at Cordon Bleu London, coupled with cooking classes &
kitchen apprenticeships at places such as Jamie Oliver’s
Recipease, L’Atelier Des Chefs and Pip’s Dish, Covent
Garden. In Feb 2017, she took it up a notch and pursued
Italian cuisine for an intensive month particularly Tuscan
at the Florence Culinary Art School in Florence, Italy.
COOKING FOR A CROWD - Lulu has also been guest chef on many
occasions locally and globally where she had to create a
creative menu to fit the occasion. Events included Farm to
Fork Pop Up Dinner (April 2014), Summer Brunches at Makan
Beirut (July 2016) & Makar Farms Spring Tuscan Farm Lunch
(April 2017).
