Aladin Abdel Naby has been working as a professional photographer since 1981, and in 1986, he joined Reuters News Agency. During his 20 years with Reuters, he covered major stories in Egypt North Africa, Central Africa, the Middle East, the Gulf, Iraq and Iran. His work has been published in international newspapers and magazines including the cover
of Newsweek. After his retirement from Reuters in March, 2006, he travelled to Holland to attend the World Press Photo Foundations' (WPPH) "Training of the Trainers" course. Currently, Abdel Naby teaches photography and news-photography, does freelance commercial work and is preparing for an exhibition.
